In France, 1 in 5 children is overweight or obese, partly due to their preference for beige food meals lacking variety and color. With Auchan Retail, the approach was simple: rather than educating kids with rules, we aimed to change their perception. A balanced meal becomes easy to understand when its visual and playful. COLORFOOD was created as a system of six color-coded boxes, each representing a food group with the right portions. By combining colors, children can intuitively build their own balanced meals.
